Question for Daycare Mommies about cereal

After reading the posts about morning and night routines for working mommies I started to think about the food issue at daycare. I have to go finalize things the end of this week but was just wondering what the BTDT mommies do as far as cereal, fruit etc. Do you mix the cereal and fruit in advance or send it separate and they mix it? Do you divide containers for each meal? Any input is appreciated!

DS isn't in daycare, but I think when I called a few they said they included cereal and babyfood?

We send it in separate containers. The dry cereal in one container (all measured out) then the fruit in the container it came in.

DH writes the instructions out on te contact sheet in the morning.

We send a separate container for each meal, labeled.

I sent in a box of oatmeal and the ladies at daycare mix it in a bowl there every day. The fruit and veggies I just send in the prepackaged containers.

I provide the cereal and food for breakfast and lunch. I put each in a separate container (small glad container) with his name on it. I don't make the cereal...just put the dry amount in the container and the food in a separate one. I do provide a 2 oz bottle of formula (there's actually only a little more than 1 oz in it though) for them to use when making the cereal.

They mix some of the food with the cereal too when feeding him.
