Re: question for ladies with Dr. Trongone

HE IS AMAZING!!

I go to him at 8 wks for sono no. 1.
then there's the 12wk (optional), the 16wk, the 20wk and if I remember correctly (only if necessary) one around 37-38 weeks for size/fluid checks.

HE IS A HUGE PROPONENT of natural birth. He will let you do whatever you want unless the life of your baby is a concern.

You'll love him.

Re: question for ladies with Dr. Trongone

Had one sono to confirm pregnancy at 6 weeks, another at 11 weeks for a spotting issue, ultrascreen at 12 weeks (optional), level II at 20 weeks. I never had any additional sonos late in my pregnancies but I am sure he does them as needed.

I had an epi with my previous pregnancies but he didn't push it by any means. He is very much one to let you take the lead, let him know what you think and he definitley respects your choices as the one in charge as long as he does not feel anything is putting the baby in jeopardy.

he is a wonderful doctor, very highly regarded and will seriously make your pregnancy and delivery a very pleasant experience!

Re: question for ladies with Dr. Trongone

Ive been very happy with Dr. T. I always feel so comfortable and trust him completely. He is on top of things without being over bearing and has a great bed side manner IMO

I had a sono at 8 week for the heart beat, 12 weeks for the NT scan and 20 weeks for the Level II. I am supposed to get one at 37 weeks to check the growth.

I did end up having an "emergency" sonogram at NSUH at around 28 w but unless there is some specific reason/need, I believe Trongone does the 4: 8, 12, 20 and 37, at least in my case.
