Question for Moms who EBF - How many poop/pee diapers should they have per day?

I have been EBF my twins and stopped supplementing with formula as soon as my milk came in (they lost a bit too much weight in the hospital bc I didn't have enough colostrum for both). How many poop/pee diapers should they each have? I know that there are a certain amount that they should have a day to know they are getting enough, but I don't remember how many of each. They are 3 weeks old. TIA!

First of all bravo to you!
They should have 7-10 wet diapers and 3-4 poop diapers a day.
I was always told if they are growing, peeing and pooping they are getting enough.

I EBF my 4 week old & she has at least 5 poop diapers & 8 pee diapers daily. She eats every 2 hrs during day & 3-4 hrs overnight.

I believe around 6-10. Note that my DD never had a peepee diaper till she was a few mos old, since BM is a laxative and she constantly pooped. Doc said totally normal. But, we went through around 8-10 a day on avg, some days being 6 and others 12.

Also, YAY FOR YOU!!! So many people don't bother nursing at all when they have twins, yet it's sooooo healthy for everyone. You rock, mama!

Thanks ladies!!! Ok, so I think we're in good shape. They each have about 7-8 pees and 2 big poops a day, but even their pee diapers all have a little poopie in them. It's like they are constantly going. Is that normal? I don't remember this with my DS.

Poop absolutely ! My first 2 pooped constantly but DS 3 was a different breed he didn't poop much.
I was told to worry more about the wet diapers and worry about the poop if they haven't gone in a week.

yup normal in the beginning congrats!!! I said to my husband ok I'm saving by not buying formula but diapers OMG every week I was going out LOL It does start to calm down around 2-3 month mark

OMG Yes!!! The amount of diapers that we've gone through in the last 3 weeks is unbelievable. I'm actually debating cloth diapering bc this is nuts!!
