Question for Moms whose DC has/had Torticollis
I'm curious if you were ever given a probable reason or idea why your DC had tort. DS was transverse in utero for quite a bit of time before he turned head down. Also, I very low amnio fluid in the three weeks of my preg and literally "ran out" at the end (c-section at 39 weeks because of it.) PT felt that either condition could have definitely contributed to the tort - transverse because his head was in wrong direction and low fluid because he was "wedged" in and didn't have room to float around.
Anyone else?

Ian was transverse until about 32 weeks. But according to our PT, she said there is no real reason for it. Sometimes it just happens. they assume its the way they lay in the uterus. She told me she knew a woman that had 3 babies and all had torticollis. that made her believe it was the shape of the mother's uterus.

After all we went through with the PT and everything, I was looking through old 3d sono pics and she favored the same side in utero too.
