Question for Pamper and Huggies Users...
Is it true that Huggies is better for boys and Pampers for girls?
Also, if you use Pampers have you any problems with the velco-like fasteners digging into your DC's skin?

I hated both brands for my son. The only brand I liked for him was luvs.
I now use(and have for almost 3 years) Pamper's for my daughters. I have never had a problem with the velcro thing digging into them. I can't even imagine how that would happen.

the fasteners have never dug into my son. I wouldn't think they would as long as you're putting it on right.

I use Pampers Baby Dry for my DD. They work great! I just have to use a bigger one at night once the size she's in starts getting on the smaller size

Actually I use Pampers during the day for my DS and I use Huggies overnights for bedtime.

Huggies worked for DD very well. I also LOVE luvs and used them for a while. The only problem with them is that they are not strong enough for nighttime and it's too expensive to buy luvs for day and huggies for night.
I did try pampers when DD was born, but the powder or whatever that scent is in it really irritated her behind and made it very red.
So I say Huggies(or luvs)

I don't think that any blanket statements are true when it comes to diapers. It really depends on the individual child.
I like Luvs or Pampers for DS. We've honestly never tried Huggies for the daytime (although I did just buy pull ups, which are Huggies brand)

We use Pampers on DD and have never had a problem with them at all (fasteners included). We do use Huggies Overnights for nighttime though.
ETA: I do also use Luvs or CVS diapers if the price is right

we use pampers. i think i am going to try huggies overnites for him after i see how expensive they are. pampers works for him but they are pricey and he always needs a size bigger for nighttime.
i have tried luvs, CVS brand and Target and none of them work as well as pampers for overnight. for during the day, they are fine.

I use pampers on my DS. The only time I had a problem of him leaking out of them was when they were getting small. As soon as I went up a size they were perfect.

I was the opposite, I dislike Huggies, Pampers was good, LOVE LUVs though

we used both - Pamper still size 3 and then we went to Huggies because they were less expensive. Love them for DS - especially the overnights. But then again, we never had an issue with Pampers - just switched because of price.

Same, but I use Luvs also - they are the same as pampers to me - so if pampers are not on sale i buy luvs.

I used pampers for my DS but recently changed to LUVs just because they are cheaper. The LUVS have worked great so far so I will continue to use them.
