Re: Question for pregnant ladies...
I know I've told you, but it was the very next month after the first AF. I disregarded what the doctors 'suggested' because I just could not bear to wait.

Re: Question for pregnant ladies...
I was told to wait 3 cycles before trying again to let my body heal and unterine lininng build up again.
I ended up taking 5 months off to heal emotionally. I didn't want to go into another pregnancy terrified of every little thing.........
I did a lot of exercising, and diet changes for both DH and I to get healthy and try to conceive on the most optimal conditins and we got pregnant our first month trying.......

Re: Question for pregnant ladies...
After the D&C my doc told me to wait 2 cycles before trying again. We waited one, and i got AF exactly 28 days after the procedure. We weren't "trying", but weren't careful during the second cycle and I got AF @ 27 days. We got pregnant on the next (3rd) cycle after the MC.

Re: Question for pregnant ladies...
i had a MC before my DS was born, at 14 1/2 weeks, and my old OB never really got to the bottom of why it happened..i was told to wait 3 cycles, and we didnt, i lost my first child on thanksgiving and was pregnant with my DS by January, having only one cycle in December... Please keep your head up ladies, this board is such a good thing, women need to be able to come somewhere to talk about this, especially when you always hear "it just wasnt meant to be" that was the WORST line for me.. Miracles happen every single day, it took me TEN YEARS to have my second chance, and a battle with gynocological cancer that was supposed to leave me at 31 with a hystorectomy.. MIRACLES HAPPEN, PLEASE BELIEVE IN THEM!
good luck all of you :)

Re: Question for pregnant ladies...
My situation was a little different since I can't get pregnant naturally to begin with. I was able to start back on my IVF meds as soon as my beta was below 5 - which it took 4 weeks to happen to begin with. I was pregnant just about exactly 8 weeks from my first BFP. But again, was through IVF.

Re: Question for pregnant ladies...
3 cycles. My Dr. said to wait one cycle. I would say it took me 3 months though to feel "ready" to be pregnant again. Although I am still a nervous wreck at 16.5 weeks.
The strange thing is, is that I am due one day before the 1 year anniversary of my D&C. (Due: 2/28/09, D&C 2/29/08).
to everyone TTC after a MC.

Re: Question for pregnant ladies...
with the help of an RE - just 2 months....I needed help and also felt better under the constant care of a specialist. It also helped once I got pregnant to have weekly sono's and bloodwork from weeks 5-8. It was very reassuring to see the little peanut growing.

Re: Question for pregnant ladies...
After my chemical, I skipped a month and then got PG two months later. I had another m/c, skipped a month, had another failed IUI and then got PG the following month. Now I have a beautiful daughter.
Keep the faith ladies. It is worth EVERY minute of energy and time you give it. I look at Abby and I see a miracle. You will have yours too.

Re: Question for pregnant ladies...
I got pregnant the 5th cycle after my miscarriage. It was particularly frustrating because my first pregnancy was an "oops" & the second (the m/c) only took 2 months.

Re: Question for pregnant ladies...
1st loss, just the 1 cycle then tried and conceived on first month- lost it(and i still wonder if it was too soon after the first one that perhaps my numbers didnt go down- my doctor only checked my numbers 1nce.
the second mc- doctor made me wait since it was a dnc- then i waited longer- but conceived on first month of trying again...
