Question for SHORT ladies!
Ok so Im very short. In between 4' 10 & 4'11. Here's a silly question.
I drive 1 hr & 15 min to work everyday and same to come home. I live over by Great Adventure and work in New Brunswick.
What I want to know is how is my stomach going to fit in front of the steering wheel when I get bigger if my seat is all the way up and thats the only way I can reach the pedals! My steering wheel doesnt move up and down for some reason.
Oh yea and I took a ruler to measure. Right now there is about 1 1/2 inches of space between me and the wheel. IM ONLY 15 WKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Question for SHORT ladies!
I was thinking the same thing the other day... My scenario: I am a bit taller- 5'2" with short legs and drive at least an hour back and forth to work everyday, AND I drive a stick shift! I am chubby to begin with so by the time my 2nd trimester rolls around [I'm almost 10W now] I am going to have a real problem!!
ETA: How old is your car? It should be able to move up and down...are you sure there isn't a lever underneath the steering wheel?

Re: Question for SHORT ladies!
Well, I am almost 5'4" and my belly hits the steering wheel when I drive my husbands Jeep Liberty! So I can definitely see that being a problem for you!

Re: Question for SHORT ladies!
Oh theres a lever. Its a 2004 Honda Pilot EX. It moves up and down. Up and back, lumbar support but no steering wheel to move. Either way its like I gotta get to the pedals.
DH was like oh I can put blocks on your pedals LOL!!!!!!!! I feel like such a baby.

Honestly, I didn't drive the last month or so. I wasn't comfortable since my stomach was right up against the steering wheel.

Re: Question for SHORT ladies!
I'm 5'0, and though I have the seat all the way up, I try to sit/lean back more...I guess I'll figure it out when i get there, b/c at 14weeks I'm no where near hitting the steering wheel with my tummy yet
