Question for small business owners.
How did you register your company name?
Did you do it through a website like LegalZoom or did you go down to the County Clerks office? Or do you do both? Just starting to do some research and I'm not sure where to begin. Thanks!

You register it with the state. Do not pay legalzoom....ave your money its not hard to do.

My accountant helped me do it, it was done through the state.

you do it locally by suffolk or nassau counties then through the state depending on what level you want to be (DBA, inc, etc) DO NOT go through Legal Zoom!
