question for those due in the winter....
...what types of strollers are you registering for? Im due in February......my question is if I should register for a snap & go and a regular stoller or just one at first? Maybe its a silly question, I just don't know how much we will be going out if its super cold. Also, is there anything specific to having a winter baby I should know to register for? I know someone mentioned a bundle me, but outside of that I have no idea

Re: question for those due in the winter....
Well my daughter is born on Oct 22. I live in Colorado so its gets pretty cold here from what I hear. Its my first winter lving here. Anyways I bought the Eddie Bauer stroller that comes with the car seat. I got it from Sears. I really never thought about will the winter effect the stroller. It seems like a really good one thought.Hope that helps.

Re: question for those due in the winter....
I'm due in November. I registered for my main stroller (Bugaboo) and my umbrella stroller (Maclaren). I won't use the McClaren until she's around 6 months, and probably won't use it that much since I love the Bugaboo. But it doesn't hurt to register for both because your going to get so much stuff, you might as well have someone buy it as a gift.
Both my strollers have been bought and my shower is in 2 weeks. So, even though you may think people won't buy this stuff, they will.

Re: question for those due in the winter....
I am due in March. I am going to register for a frame for my infant seat (like the snap and go), and a more substantial stroller. I am confused and I change my mind often, so who knows!

Re: question for those due in the winter....
I registered for the snap and go and a regular stroller. I'm due in December, so I just got the snap and go for quick trips or for the mall type trips. I don't see me taking many walks outside until after the baby is 4 months or older.

Re: question for those due in the winter....
My mom suggested that I only register for the travel system one and then get an umbrella stroller for when the winter is over. I just dont see using the snap-n-go that often at all since my baby is due December 27th. I dont plan on bringing the baby to the mall or anything when it is that young anyway. Then by the time the weather gets nicer, I can use the travel system(with the carseat) for going for walks and the umbrella stroller for trips to the store and stuff like that.

Re: question for those due in the winter....
OY Strollers...that has been the hardest part of this whole registry thing. I'm due in November so first we were going to go with a Bugaboo but decided against it because it doesn't fold in one piece and it looks like the baby can outgrow it fast. We looked at the Musty, Uppa Vista and Rock Star and all though all were nice to me DH wasn't in love with any of them
I have Pliko P3 hand me down from my sister than is in excellent condition....we will use this when the baby is older and for now the only stroller than DH and I both really like is the Peg Perego Venezia. It has a reversible handle and a boot and I've heard good reviews. It folds up with one hand (2 step motion and is relatively lightweight for a full size stroller) Also my sisters Pliko is over 4 years old and looks brand new....I heard Peg strollers are pretty durable so we're figuring both of them (venezia and Pliko) are strollers we can use for future babies.

Re: question for those due in the winter....
This was the hardest decision for me as well. I ended up just registering for the chicco travel system in Discovery. I figured probably won't be going out that much since I'm due in January.

Re: question for those due in the winter....
I'm due at the end of January and I registered for the Graco Quattro Tour travel system and the Snap and Go. I'm thinking the Snap and Go might be convenient to leave in the car in the early months, since I don't really see myself going for walks outside with the baby if it's really cold but I know I'll be visiting my MIL and my mom so I'll need something.

Re: question for those due in the winter....
I am due in early December, and I decided to register for the snap and go. I'm not quite sure which carseat I'm getting yet, but possibly a Peg Perego. My parents are getting us the carseat, and I could not decide upon what type of stroller I want or need. If I choose before my shower, I'll register, but if not, at least I'll have the Snap & Go.
Babies r Us reviews for the Snap and Go were good--most people said they wish they had bought it for their first children.

Re: question for those due in the winter....
register for one. I had a december baby and if it existed 7 yrs ago I would of used it.
also you can always use in case you chose to have a second baby.

Re: question for those due in the winter....
I just registered for a travel system. I'm due at the end of january so I figured I wouldn't be going out much until at least March anyway. Well someone in my office was getting rid of baby stuff and gave me the snap and go which was nice, that way if I have to make trips to the store or anything I will have it.
