question for those girls that had a chemical or early m/c. 1st cycle after it
Did it go back to a normal 28 day or whatever a normal cycle was for you...
AF came almost exactly 5 weeks to the day that I started bleeding, It was a good 9 days "later" than normal...so wanted to start with OPK's this month but didn't want to start testing too early. I normally O around CD15-16 today is CD10 and would normally start testing tomorrow but was nervous that was going to have a longer than normal cycle
TIA

dont you absolutely LOVE that our cycles are so screwed up right now!?!? i have no idea what to tell you! this is so completely frustrating!
it will be 6 weeks next week from the time i had my d&c and who knows when it will come? or when i will "o" or anything... my window for a summer baby is closing soon!! but more importantly i wanted dd1 and dc2 to be close in age like no more than 2.5 years apart...

I effing hate this...I did get AF THANKFULLY bc I think if I had to wait much longer I would have gone nuts...but now I'm just wondering if it's going to be another longgg cycle...I wouldn't mind having a summer or even early Fall baby, like September...I also wanted them to be close in age...DD is currently obsessed with babies and would love for her to be still obsessed with babies when I have my next and not hate them

dd too, she loves babies!!! plus i want to get pregnant before she enters the terrible 2s!! that way there is no turning back! i would hate to have my dh change his mindabout #2 all of a sudden due to bad behavior!

Re: question for those girls that had a chemical or early m/c. 1st cycle after it
I cant answer your original question. But I wanted to tell you girls 2 things..
1- DS is 2.5 almost 3 and STILL obsessed with babies. Has been since about 18 months old. IF he sees a baby stroller (like the snap and go) he HAS to look in side. We had a playdate with like 15 kids at my house...I asked him later who came over...he only mentioned the 2 babies!
2- Piece of mind DS never had terrible 2s. He was a great 2 yo. As we get closer to 3 I am getting afraid though.
Just wanted to help reassure you ladies!
GL!

Re: question for those girls that had a chemical or early m/c. 1st cycle after it
with the first one AF stayed on schedule without so much as skipping a beat, but i can't say whether i ovulated because we decided to take a few months off after that. with the second one, i didn't O until CD32 when i usually O around CD16.

Thanks, what about the subsequent cycles, did they go back to normal after that first one?

Thanks ladies..I need clarify....I'm now on a brand new cycle...I had a chemical on 8/19 ovulated that cycle on CD21 and got AF on 9/22. So it was a looooong 5 week cycle...I'm now on CD11 of my new cycle and wondering if I'll still O when I o'd (like CD15) before the chemical or will it be funky again

a five week cycle after a chemical isnt abnormal or long. if you are concerned just start using OPKs earlier, it cant hurt. theres no way to predict how your body will adjust, just try to cover your bases.
