Question for those who have the Summer Infant BestView video monitor
Has anyone had a problem with the monitor just shutting off while in use? We have used this thing for 8 months with not a single problem and all the sudden in the past 2 days it has shut off on its own 4 times! At night, we always keep it plugged in and it hasn't happened at night yet. But we have it unplugged when Kieran is sleeping and we're downstairs and that's when it's happened each time. Once when it happened, I know I had gone out of range with it and thought maybe that was why it shut off. But the other 3 times it was just sitting there working fine and then turned off out of nowhere! Anyone else have this issue?

the image goes out on mine when it's not plugged in to conserve battery power, but the sound still works. i haven't had it shut off completely though...

yup... i think its meant to shut off if its not plugged in to save the battery power.. its not so bad since i am not watching them every minute..
i love that monitor!

i love that monitor!
No I don't mean how the screen shuts off, I mean the entire monitor powered off- sound, image, everything- and I had to turn the power back on. I love that monitor too, which is why I'm so sad about it!
