question for those who jhave kids in or know about NYC schools pre-k

Does the nyc schools have full ay prek classes or only full day for k?

Also what do you do if your local public school that youare assigned to doesnt have prek can you get the child into a school bnear by that does provide pre k?

there should be a universal pre-k in the area if not at the public school. The local school district would be able to tell you where they are located. 1/2 day full day really changes from year to year based on funding.

Kindergarten should be full day unless you chose to take them out earlier in the day.
