Question for those with 3-4 5 week old babies
How many ounces does DC take at a time? How many hours between feedings??

at 5 weeks my DS was taking 4-4.5 oz. every 3-4 hours with longer stretches at night.

My son will be 4 weeks tomorrow, I nurse so it's hard to say how much he is eating. He nurses for 20 minutes on each side and then we supplement with formula, where he will take anywhere from 1-4 oz. The DR told us to do this because he tends to graze at the breast, falling asleep and not always really eating. Sometimes he'll be really gulping for most of the feeding and other times he just seems to be using me as a pacifier. He also really ranges with how long he goes between feedings, anywhere from 3-5 hours, the longer stretches being at night.
Last night he went down at 10PM and didn't wake up until 5AM this morning! It was the first time I had gotten 7 straight hours of sleep since before I was pregnant!

DD is very similar but taking more towards the 4.5-5 oz side....

When Aiden was that age he was taking 4 ounces at every feeding. We pretty much fed on demand -- usually every 3 hours. About 7 - 8 feedings a day.  The nights were the worst!

Chloe is 3.5 weeks and she takes anywhere from 3-4 oz at a feeding. Sometimes she'll cry, fuss, or root about an hour later and I give her another oz.
Feeding is so confusing, isn't it? I feel like I am always washing, preparing or feeding her bottles.
Edited: She gets fed about every 3 hours, but goes longer in the night (Yay!)

I breastfed so I don't know how much DD got at each feeding. But, at 4 weeks we started giving her one bottle/day and I would pump. Those feedings were 2 oz each. If I pumped more we'd offer it but she'd never drink it.
