Question for those with wood burning fireplace...
Does the smell ever go away? Obviously we haven't used the fireplace in a couple of months but that room still stinks. Is there anything I can do to get rid of the smell? Should I have the chimney cleaned again? I notice it's really bad on hot days like today even with the CAC on.

Re: Question for those with wood burning fireplace...
When in the last time you had it cleaned up?
How many times did you use it since?
What kind of wood are you using?

We had it cleaned in October and used it all winter long. We got our wood from Prianti.

My parents have a wood burning stove and theirs never smells. I find that odd. Have you cleaned it out since the last time you used it? I know my Dad cleans the stove and then the pipe once they are done using it for the season.
