We have a Rival. It's great for making corned beef, see the recipe board for a good recipe.

yup! the rivals are great! we just got our corned beef and cabbage ready to go in it for tomorrow... its all in the pot part in the fridge, so tomorrow morning i just have to take it out of the firdge, and turn it on- and when i get home from work, dinner will be DONE!! doesn't get any better!!!

I think mine is a Rival.
I have the extra large one with the removable ceramic insert. I highly recommend it. It is so much easier to clean when it can be removed.
