Question re weight
Is anyone else having an extra hard time losing the weight you may have gained during pregnancy. I've been dieting on and off since my D&C, but for the last 2.5 weeks i've been really sticking to my diet (haven't cheated at all), and have been walking a lot, and I've only lost 2 lbs. In the past, it never took me this long to lose weight. Just wondering if its just that i'm older now or if has something to do with the mc.

Re: Question re weight
I gained weight when I was pregnant and then would go back and forth with losing some and then gaining the little I lost back. Through time I ended gaining more weight and more... and all of a sudden I was up sooo much weight.
I def had weight issues afterwards!!!

Re: Question re weight
Sort of. I think mostly it's because I was/am depressed.
When I got pregnant I was exercising daily, nothing too crazy, but I kept active. After the loss I have been on and off with the working out. I read too much exercise is bad for TTC so I cut back and I'm always afraid to push myself in the 2ww just in case. So my routine hasn't been consistent and my weight has fluctuated every month since the loss.
I did keep up with exercising when I was pregnant when I could (between being exhausted and sick) and I know they say exercise doesn't cause a miscarriage but I wanted to take it easy the next time around for peace of mind but since nothing seems to be happening with TTC I'm just going back to my old routine. My old routine is what got me knocked up in the first place so maybe if I kick it up a notch something will give.
But yeah, my body isn't the same as it was last fall before I was pregnant. Weight wise I'm about the same but my body doesn't look the same to me anymore :(

Re: Question re weight
I'm having the opposite happen. I'm losing weight left and right. To the point where it's starting to scare me. My doc seems to think it's depression and I agree with that.

Re: Question re weight
Oyyyy my weight
I gained about 10lbs from my first pregnancy last year that I never managed to lose.
Then between my last IVF cycle and pregnancy, I put on another 4-5 pounds.
None of my clothes fit right... the only thing that fits comfortably are the maternity clothes I have from when I was pregnant last summer.
My weight depresses me to no end .. yet... obviously not enough to actually do about it because all I do is sit on my @ss and eat anyway.
I think it's half physical and half depression. I have this idea in my head that I could eat away my sorrows ......... Well.. I eat and I eat yet I'm still childless and very obviously prone to pregnancy loss, as evidenced by the 5 babies I lost in the past year.
