Question regarding Honey Dew Melons
Does any one know how to tell if there Ripe before there cut?????

I think they have to be a little soft and smell like a ripe melon. I am allergic to honeydew, it used to be one of my favorite fruits.....

It should smell sweet and you should be able to push on the blossom end - it shouldn't be firm, but should give to your pushing.
