Questions about infant carrier ?
My DD is 6 months, I still use the infant carrier-when did u stop using it? Then I just got a new car--there is no way to put her in the middle, I have her on the passenger side--is this ok? Anyone have their DC on the side not the middle??? TIA!!!!!!

Ryan was in the infant carrier for six months. I never had him in the middle. He is on the passenger side in one car and the driver's side in our other car.

I used the carrier for My DD the whole 1st year...
and my DS is 11 mo old and we JUST bought him the reg car seat and we havent used it yet! dont think we can go another month - but still pretty close!

DS was in his infant carrier until he was about 5 months old...
he was always in the middle (we had a jeeo cheroke)
DD was in her infant carrier for 3 months and she HATED it.. she is on the passenger side of the car and my DS is on the drivers side

All 3 of mine were out of their infant carrier at 4 months. I have 2 kids so they are both on the sides not in the middle. Middle is safest though.

Not necessarily, it depends on the car, check the manual to see where they recommend a car seat should go...
To answer the OP's question, DS was in the infant carrier until he was 10 months in my car and 11 months in DH's. He was in the middle in mine nad the passenger on DH's. Since he has been in the convertible, he has always been on the passenger

My kids were in it until around 7 months. I have Captains Chairs so there is no middle. I think you have to work with what you have. I have Britax car seats which are rated very well.

We just stopped using it a few weeks ago - they were 10 months.
We have ours on both the passenger and drivers side. We have no choice.
