I read this before your thread and must admit, McCain has lost a few screws here. According to the article, even his own party members are not supporting his plan.
He's making an awful lotta promises and many people know it. Why do you think he's trailing Obama in the polls?
Where are we going to get the money for tax cuts, housing bailouts, etc. when under McCain's presidency, we're going to be immersed in the Iraq wall for god knows how long! The $10 billion we must spend a month to continue the war in Iraq is going to handicap us financially for a long time...
