Questions for WW members!

What is your favorite part of the program and least favorite?

My favorite is the flexibility of food I can eat and not feel like I am on a "diet" and my least favorite is getting my water in! Chat Icon

Re: Questions for WW members!

I'm new to WW - but my favorite and least favorite part is the same!

I like the point system. I kind of look at it like a game. Trying to keep at this daily number without going over it. I set a goal to see if I could keep my bonus weekly points over 10. Today is the day before weigh in and I have 34 weekly left! And I haven't been hungry. I think the points make you really sit and think about what you are going to eat - if it's worth it. Like yesterday I was just going to stop at Taco Bell and get dinner - until I read that a Nachos Bellgrande had 18 POINTS!!!! I stopped at the supermarket instead and got ground turkey and made tacos and ultimately had dinner for less than half the points. It also gives me the opportunity to stop and assess my own feelings and say - "Wait.. I'm not hungry - I am just not STUFFED or overfull." I am getting to recognize my bodies signals better.

On the other hand.. it is frustrating trying to figure out how many points are in something. I like the e-tools but the information can be conflicting and it makes me nutty. Or trying to eat out and 'guess' what my chianti demi glaze has in it!Chat Icon

My favorite part is being able to eat "normal" foods and not feel like I am on a diet. As long as I account for it all, or plan for a splurge... it's all good!

Honestly? I don't think I have a least favorite part. They make it so easy for you, I cant think of anything that I don't like about the program.

Your post is exactly why I love WW. You decide to make better choices based on points until it becomes second nature. Once I have my twins I am jumping on the WW train again. I's lost the same 20 lbs again and again but this time I am really motivated-I also didn't deprive myself of much while pregnant so I don't feel like i am "missing out" on anything.

Re: Questions for WW members!

My favorite part: Being able to have whatever I want and splurges here and there without "ruining" my diet - this most definitely includes booze Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Least favorite: Being patient for the process to work - I think that is why a lot of people often give up on it. It would be nice if it was a fast weight loss program, but we all know those don't work - so I don't mind a little patience and persistence.
