Questions from a newbie
Hi everyone,
I just got my BFP yesterday and am a little confused. According to the online estimated due date predictors I am already 4 weeks. How can that be if I O'd on 3/26 (my LMP was 3/14). Shouldn't I only be 2 weeks?
Also, DH and I are going to Disney and Universal studios in 3 weeks and Im nervous about flying and going on rides. I am going to avoid the roller coasters but Im assuming other rides are ok.

It goes by the date of your last period, not conception.

Re: Questions from a newbie
Congratulations! The pp is correct the first day of your last Pd. is the day that you start counting your pregnancy, so technically you are not pg for the first two weeks of pg.
As for disney - I would call your obgyn and ask if he has any restrictions. Mine says not to get the heart rate over 140 bpm. So no haunted house drop at WDW, no roller coasters, no rides that flip you over super fast.

Because most women dont know the date of conception it is standard practice to go by the date of your last period.
I would ask your dr. about the rides. Roller coasters are bad but Im sure there are other rides you shouldn't be going on either!!
Congrats btw!!

Congrats. I'd ask you doctor about the rides. Flying is fine as I'm sure simple rides like Dumbo and It's a Small World are okay but in addition to roller coasters, jostling and jerking simulator rides at Universal and Tea Cups may not be advised. See what your doctor says.
