Quick but good Dinner in NYC?

DH and I are going into the city after work tomorrow to see a show (rescheduled from Blizzard day the weekend before Christmas!) and want to grab dinner somewhere beforehand. The earliest we can get into the city is around 6:15pm (at Penn) and the show is at 8pm at the Helen Hayes Theater (240 West 44th Street – b/w 7th and 8th). Any recommendations for a place we can grab a quick but good dinner?

TIA!

I love everything on 9th avenue-everything was so good!

If you want to trek to the East side for quick and cheap and yummy, Blockheads Burritos!

31st st between 9th and 9th (right next to Penn Station if you're taking the train in) is Cafe 31. Awsm food, inexpensive. The only thing is there is a Ranger game tomorrow night so it may be crowded. If you go make sure you have a crab cake!!! Best around!

ETA: between 7th and 8th not 9th and 9th lol

You HAVE to go to Saju Bistro on 44th b/t 6th Ave & Broadway...they have a pre-theater special usually, and if you tell them you are going to a show they will get you out in time. You can walk right past past it if you're not looking (it's on the north side of the street), but I am so glad I found it. I go here all the time!
