Quick, somewhat silly question about a post-interview thank you email.
Every sample of a thank you letter I found online starts off with Dear Mr. Last name.
However, everyone at the company uses first names and when introducing themselves and then referring to each other with me during a group interview used first names only. I feel that I should use first names addressing the person in the letters.
What do you think?

Re: Quick, somewhat silly question about a post-interview thank you email.
As a recruiter (HR Generalist) I have received it both ways. I always introduce myself as my first name. However, when I talk on the phone or am giving my position I always say my last name as well. I have received thank you letters all different ways. Dear First Last, Dear First, Dear Ms. Last.
Honestly, I personally don't notice either way.

I would err on the side of being more formal and address it "Dear Mr/Ms last name" . I just went through an interview process that was similar (everyone used first names) but I never considered addressing g the thank you emails that way

But the thing is, I already addressed all those people by their first name several times during the interview...

This.
Let them be the one to tell you it's okay to not be so formal.
I have students who call me Dear Ms. M until I tell them to please not do so.

I would use the formal address. I think a letter is more formal than speaking in person.
