Random shooting pains there?
Nothing consistent, just every once and a while I get a weird pain in my "area". Anyone else? Normal or weird?

it is pretty normal for how early you are.... your body is still 'adjusting' to having to make room down there... 
if you wind up having ANY form of spotting or the pain gets severe - i'd call the OB....

Yup- that is my first symptom of pregnancy for every pregnancy. I always start getting it even before AF is due.
