random thought/question for those who had more than one of the same gender
how did you come up with names and then assign the names? like if you had two boys and came up with two boy names, how did you decide who got which name?

Re: random thought/question for those who had more than one of the same gender
We didnt know what we were having. My first choice girl name was alice my second choice was lily. Baby A is lily and Baby B is alice. I didnt get to really even see them after delivery because they took them to the nicu so fast. We waited until after we met them in the nicu to assign the names. I dont know any other Alices, however the other Lily that I know is a crazy energetic woman. Baby A NEVER stopped/stops moving in or out.

Re: random thought/question for those who had more than one of the same gender
We had a girl name picked from when I was pregnant with DS. So that name became baby a's name and then when we decided on a second name it was baby b's name. My OB assured me A would be delivered first. Of course my luck it didn't happen that way and our names got switched with the girls

i have a family friend that is pregnant with twin girls and I recently asked her the same question! She said she was going to wait and see what they looked like to see who would get each name.

That's a really good question...and then how do you keep it straight in the beginning unless they look really different...

Re: random thought/question for those who had more than one of the same gender
Baby A was going to be G and Baby B was H.
We didn't find out the gender and also had girl names for A and B.

This is what we did. We picked out names (after months of agonizing over it) and then assigned the names after we met them.
