I just got oquated from Petro...... $3.93 from $289 last year. Slomins $3.59. I dont know what to do.

Wow, and I got quoted $3.29 from Slomins back in January and I thought they were ripping me off bigtime.
I was ready to drop them and do COD, but I said i'd give it one more year with them.

Can I ask how much everyone's bill actually is? I don't know how much I am paying per gallon until they deliver it to me and I get the paperwork as I did not lock in a rate this year, again.

I just ask because I pay 12 month out of the year and not just in the winter.

There really isn't any way to tell how much you will pay per month without knowing certain details first.
The first thing you need to find out is how much oil you use per year on average. Then everything else can be estimated.
Let's say your house uses 1000 gallons of oil a year. At $3.29 a gallon your average bill will probably be around $274 a month.
Ouch that makes me sick just thinking of that.

I guess because I pay the same every month for 12 months.

Petro I guess figured out how much oil we use and based on the $2.89 we paid a balance bill of $200 per month.
