The whole thing is just such a shameful situation. One of the things that scares me the most is that the FDA is furloughed so guess what's not getting inspected? OUR FOOD! Not that they gave two shits about food quality in the first place, but what's gonna happen when we start getting sick from contaminated food?!?

And at this point there ARE most likely enough votes in the house to pass this clean bill. The speaker is not allowing it to be voted on. It's as if the tea party as pictures of John Boehner screwing a goat or something

And yes, even non-Tea Party Republicans have said that this is ridiculous and that there are enough votes to pass but Boehner will not allow it. Speaker of the House my ass! He's only speaking for the TP minority and the Crook Brothers.
