Reasonable family vacation ideas
Looking to go away with another family. Kids will be around 8 and 5. 4 adults. We did Disney Magic together and had an amazing time. We got a great deal for the cruise. Any ideas for next Falk in November? Would love to do an all inclusive but a lot of them are a lot and doesn't include flights. We were looking at Anthem of the Seas but I don't know too much about that cruise. We had such an amazing time on the Disney cruise we're not sure how this will compare. Any other ideas? Thanks!

RCCL are AMAZING cruises. I've known a few people who have sailed on the Anthem and they LOVED it!! Nothing but awesome things to say about it and some have sailed on the Anthem more than once. I can't wait to cruise on that ship myself!!

we're doing a disney cruise in november, the week of the NJ teacher's convention (we live in NJ). its a 7 night, going to st. thomas, Tortola, castaway cay.... its different islands than we've been to before. we booked the day the prices came out, so we got a decent deal. we're thinking of doing the Anthem at some point, too. we've been on RCCL and liked it a lot. (it was on one of their older ships-to canada- but was still nice, food was good, etc) the anthem looks really cool because it has stuff like bumper cars, etc that i think my son would really like... and the price is way better than disney HAHA

The Anthem doesn't have any waterslides. I was disappointed when I looked into it recently, and is why I wouldn't book with them, especially coming from Disney. There is another ship that looks fun, but it's Carnival. The Breeze. It's probably cheap since it's carnival. We saw it from our Disney cruise, and they had a ropes course, slides, etc. So I looked it up when we got back last month, and it looks like it was just refurbished.

We were on the Anthem last February, are going this August and already booked for next March. Anthem is by far our favorite ship of any, including other Royal Caribbean, NCL, Disney and Carnival.
They have an nice indoor pool for rainy/cooler months, bumper cars, roller skating, a large xbox area, great arcade, the entertainment venues are awesome, 270 and the Music Hall. Our daughter does not do the kids clubs and had plenty to do the entire week. Love that ship!

I know it sounds funny, but I agree about the water slides. Also, I LOVED that Disney's pools and slides were all heated. They spoil you.

Yes, and they aren't saltwater, which I think is what most cruise lines have? Not to mention the nice cold towels they hand you when coming back to the boat from an excursion, the lemon water also waiting for you, the staff who will cut your kids food, the no checking out of pool towels, the cleaning your room spotless twice a day...ahhh...I'm not sure we could cruise another line LOL
