To my understanding it was a lock in price. The guy said I was lucky b/c the price went down.

You can buy a contract WITHOUT locking in an oil price don't let these theiving oil companies trick you into thinking otherwise. 99% of the time the FREE contract you get isn't really free at all because you pay so much more a gallon than someone buying COD. Do the math, ask how much a contract is with no lock. Call COD places, tell you company the other prices you got. Don't believe companies like Slomins & petro....figure it out for yourself & pick the deal that works best for you!!!!
