recommend a good simple sewing machine ... that can
also sew leather and jeans
I'm clueless, I own a $14 tiny little machine that flakes out on me every chance it gets. I'm ready for the real sewing.
But need something simple, and easy to thread.

I'd go to Joann's and talk to the ladies who repair sewing machines. They are so nice and know a lot about the different brands and machines.
