Recommend restaurant for Christening reception
I am looking for an affordable restaurant with a garden room or beach view in North Shore Long Island / Nassau County for the boys christening in May. Could you recommend one please?

Not sure where you live, but I was going to book DD's Communion at Crab Meadow Golf Course. It. has a water view, large dance floor and good food and service. For a buffet with beer, wine and soda it costs about $40 pp. It holds over 100 people.

Look at LaMottas in Port Washington. We had DD's christening there and it was BEAUTIFUL.... its not a beach view, but it is right on the sound.... (you step out and you're in the marina)

We had DDs Christening at the Waterview Club in Bayville. Tons of food and pretty views!
But its a reception hall, not restaurant.
Also, Soundview Cafe in Glen Cove (golf course)
not on the water (but pretty damn close) is Mill Creek Tavern. They have a separate party room and good food.
We had my brothers graduation party there
