recommend you apartment complex!
Hi- need recommendations for my cousin/ her husband. They are moving from CA (where they have rent control) to long Island for his job. They need to stay around $1300 a month and are looking for a decent apartment/ neighborhood. They are not willing to move further east than coram/ medford.
TIA!!!!!!

Re: recommend you apartment complex!
I lived in Waverly Park condos in Holtsville for a while. We owned our unit but I think some people do rent them too.
You could also look in Patchogue. I feel like there's quite a few apartments there and some new ones too (Greenbrier, Heatherwood and I think they just opened ones called New Village). I don't know the details/cost but I've passed them randomly.

We lived in Hillcrest Village in Holbrook. Not sure of the prices now, but we never had any problems there.

Yep! 1 brs START at $2070 and go up to $2500.
$1300 might be a bit tough. I do know someone who lives at Woodhull Gardens and is very happy there. It's probably the most reasonable in the area. Look into Heatherwood properties too (I think Hillcrest Village mentioned above is one). They might be more in the $14-1500 month range, but I've know a few people happy with them too.
