Recommend your apartment complex in Suffolk
We are looking to move to an apartment complex in Suffolk. I know the amenaties and prices vary quite a bit, we are not interested in anything as fancy as Avalon type places that have granite and garages etc. We are looking to live there for 2 years max and want just a 1 bedroom for about 1250 max - less is better.
If you live in an apartment complex and it is a good one please recommend your place so i may narrow down all these places I have listed. I have like 15 + to look at and i want to cut that down a bit.

I lived in Country Club Gardens in East Islip for 4 years before buying our house. It was clean and in a decent area.

Not sure what area you're looking for but we lived in Stratford Greens in Hauppauge for 2 years and liked it there. They're owned by Home Properties.

Cindy, FM me about your complex. Do they have a 2 bedroom, 2 bath and how much do you think the rent is?
Thanks

Re: Recommend your apartment complex in Suffolk
I live in a beautiful complex in Suffolk, but the 1 bedroom is way more than 1250 - sadly!
the good news is, our lease didn't increase this year, for the 1st time since I've lived here.

I live in the ones on Waverly before we moved. We had a 1 bedroom and it was huge. I had a GREAT time leaving there. DH still talk about it.

Re: Recommend your apartment complex in Suffolk
We're actually moving to the Southern Meadows apt. complex in Bayport next month.
We really liked the apt. sizes and I actually know someone who lived there for a few years and loved it. We're really excited and the prices are great right now. The website is homeproperties.com.

Re: Recommend your apartment complex in Suffolk
We live in a 2br in Fairfield Village in Middle Island. Our rent is super low compared to what they are offering now, $1450 I believe is the going rate.
We recently looked at Avalon Pines ($1660), Stonegate ($1750), Brookwood ($1400), and Pinewood ($1500). Cannot touch what we have at Fairfield. They have lots of properties. Check them out.

this is a place we plan on looking at, how long was the wait to get a place?
Funny how some of the aprtments you guys mentioned are very poorly rated on apartment ratings.
