Recommend your car seat
Not infant carrier, I'm talking about the seat they use when they start facing forward.
Which brand, model and why did you choose it?
When did you start using it?

Love my britax marathon, we put DS in it around 6 months. It's easy to install, very safe, and very comfy for him. It is on the expensive side, but worth it for us

We have the Britax Decathlon (same as Marathon except the Decathlon has a crotch adjustment).
We love it! We transfered DS in it at 8 months. He had completely outgrew his infant carseat.
DS loves his comfort so something "roomy" was a must. He is also on the bigger side so I had to get something he would not outgrow before he switches to a booster.

Britax Boulevard because it has side impact protection and it goes up to 65lbs so I will never need another seat.
Safety was the biggest factor for me.

We started using it at 5 months, we have the Graco Comfortsport and LOVE it. Its not too big, not too small, was well rated, cushy, has a cup holder and is user friendly.

Ditto here. DS finally graduated to a plain booster seat on his 6th b-day.
ETA: The Britax brand is one of the few brands that you can use the top tether when rear-facing. I think that's a big safety plus, since with the top tether, that seat isn't budging, and DC will be rear-facing for up to a year in the convertible seat.

We have two Evenflo Triumphs and love them!!! Rated highly for safety by Consumer Reports an don't cost as much as a Britax. We started using it at 5 months.
