Recommend your sling!
I'm 5'2" and trying to head back to being 106 ..we'll see if that happens...but wanted to start using a sling that would fit my physique and one that can be used while bf-ing..let me know what works best for you! Thanks!

Re: Recommend your sling!
I WISH I WAS AS TINY AS YOU LOL...but im not..although my best friend is, and we use the same sling..its the Hotslings one..they have em cheaper on ebay then at BRU or BBB.. i think she has the smallest one..maybe a 1..it should be perfect for you!!
oh and btw, our babies LOVE them...mine is 10 weeks old, the second i put her in it, she falls asleep lol and my BF's dd, is 1, and STILL loves to be carried in it, and its so much more comfortable then lugging anything around with you..

Re: Recommend your sling!
My DD didn't like the sling. We tried the peanut sling and Native Carrier.
Several of my friends love their slings. One is your size and she used the Hotsling. Another one who is just a little taller than you and b/f used the peanut sling.

I have a pouch sling from Kangaroo Korner, they were reccomended to me by my midwife. I can't live with out my sling...... You can definitely breastfeed in it. The owners of the company are really great at answering questions and helping to make sure you get the right size sling....

I am about the same size , just a little taller. I used the hotsling from hotslings.com. I have one in pink. DD loved it and so did I. We also had the carrier and DD liked the sling so much more. The website gives you the sizing chart and the instructions .

Re: Recommend your sling!
I have a Beco and LOVE it....you can use it from infact all the way up....well, I was backpacking with DD in it when she was 16 months!
SUPER comfortable especially on the back. I'm 5'1" and it fits perfectly.
I also have a Moby and I plan on trying it again...it's super long but once you get the hang of it, it works really well. Just takes some practice.

I love my Beco Carrier. I have a Mamma's Milk sling as well, but DS never took to the sling. He was more comfortable in the Beco.

Re: Recommend your sling!
I have a Moby wrap and it will fit any size because you tie it and wrap it around your body, It is a little bit of a PITA to wrap but has a lot of different holds and is good for a long time

Re: Recommend your sling!
I could not live without my mayawrap. I used to carry DD around Disney at 10wks old. It is a ring sling and can be adjusted and used for many years/positions. I also have Moby wrap but I don't love it as much. Check out http://www.theslingstation.com/ They have a lot of info.
