I want to get DS an mp3 player, can I hijack your post and ask if anyone has recommendations for either?

Well there are no CDs to take out and loose, so I'm thinking it might be a little better for a toddler.
I think like an Ipod with really big buttons.

I don't have one, but have my eye on the SweetPea MP# player - it looks very durable & has a lock on volume so the parent can set it.
I know they offer it on their own website & have also seen it on amazon.

our SweetPea3 player is awesome. that thing takes a beating but it is annoying to upload the MP3s on it. DD loves it! nice auto shut off feature too.

dd is 2 and we got her the sweetpea last xmas, she loves it! it holds a ton of songs and can totally handle being drooled on and thrown on the floor on a almost daily basis! this is one of the few xmas presents from last year that she still loves to use all the time.

My DD has the Sweet Pea 3 MP3 player. It's so cute. She got it for her 1st bday.........she's now 2. It just has a play and stop button, won't break when dropped, and you can download whatever music you would like to it.
