Recommend your washer/dryer please!
DH and I are looking to get a new washer and dryer. We are looking at front loading for both and have looked at Whirlpool, Maytag and LG. Anyone have any experiences to share?
TIA!

We have front loading Whirlpool Duet washer and dryers. We have had them for about 2 years- and we love them!

Re: Recommend your washer/dryer please!
Thanks everyone! For those who own the Whirlpool Duet, do you find you can fit a lot of clothes in them? I'm looking for large capacity because DS goes through so much clothes and I'd like to get something that cuts down on how many loads of laundry we do. Right now, it feels like I spend all day and night on Sunday doing laundry.

Re: Recommend your washer/dryer please!
I asked this same question last week.
Originally I bought the Whirlpool Cabrio but got really scared when I read all the neg reviews and some F51 glitch that has ppl calling the repair guy weekly. Although, I will say there were a few LIF members that were encouraging, saying how they LOVE them and no problems. I just have really bad luck with appliances in general..so I canceled the order.
Ended up getting the LG Tromm washer/dryer. I'll tell ya what I think come Friday nce they are delivered. Got a great deal 'cause I caught the Presidents Day sale.
Good Luck..its not a cheap investment but it can be soooooo confusing ( for me,nerve wrecking) trying to narrow down the choices.
Just to add, my best friend has the Duets and she LOVES them.

I vote for the LG Tromm, it fits soooo much clothes!!! and if i'm not mistaken the new models have a baby clothes function? Mine has sanitary. which is really the same i've always used it for ds's clothes.
anyhow i can go on and on about how great the machines are.... I wouldnt look at any other brand.

It definitely fits alot more clothes than a regular washer and dryer. I can fit a king size comforter in there- and I can fit over 50% more clothes than before!!
