recommend your workout dvd
Hi everyone~ Just wondering if anyone could recommend a good cardio workout dvd. maybe kickboxing or a bootcamp.
I had twins in jan and going back to the gym is not an option right now. I was pretty active before the babies so something that is pretty intense I currently have one of the biggest loser dvd and it is getting boring.
thanks so much!

Re: recommend your workout dvd
I still rely on Billy Banks Tae Bo. I also love Jillian Michaels Boost your Metabolism and Trouble Zones. These are all approximately 50-55 minutes. There are shorter dvds by JM (The shred DVDs I think are o nly 30 mins) And some of them you can even get on demand if you have Time Warner. I prefer the gym... but sometimes my schedule doesnt permit it so once or twice a week, I'll use these. HTH!

Re: recommend your workout dvd
Congrats!! I LOVE this one DVD I've been doing... Michele Dozois Peak 10 Cardio Strength. Very well done. It is intense, but you can modify. There are 5 "blocks" each containing 2 circuits (repeated) of weights and Cardio. I burn a ton of calories. You can even only do a few of the blocks if you're limited on time. I only do it 2x per week because it is tough and she even recommends only 1-2x per week. It is one of my favorite DVDs ever. Collagevideo.com has tons of DVds and they rate them all. I can relate to no gym, I have 2 toddlers, so DVDs have become my BFF.

check our your cable offerings too - on Exercise on Demand, there are a lot of good free offerings and they change from time to time. They used to have Shred on TW's EOD, now they have BL Last Chance Workout and others - it's a good way to test them out before buying. There are A LOT of different options to try.

I was going to reccomend that too! I have FIOS, and there are lots of on-demand options for free. Some are much better than others, but you can go through them and find a variety that way.

I've done both of these and they are both really good! I've heard great things about P90X too.

Re: recommend your workout dvd
I love P90X and Brazil Butt Lift, but it takes real commitment to find the time that it requires. Most of the P90 workouts are 60 min and BBL is usually 2 workouts a day each about 30-45 min a piece.
