Red meat makes me sick?

OMG... I was in hell last night. I woke up at 1:30am with terrible stomach cramps which I bet is worse than labor contractions. Sweating, light headedness and finally the relief of throwing my guts up. I had to wake my put hubby up for help.

I got sick on Jan 1st, too, which was the last time I ate red meat. Do you think there's a correlation?

It's not just throwing up... It's agonizing pain. I may have undiagnosed IBS, but never really triggered by red meat before.

I don't know if it makes a difference but was the meat well done? I went out to dinner during my first trimester and I asked for well done filet mignon...it came back medium. I ate some of it and then asked for them to take it back and cook it some more. I was so sick that night!

omg, that is exactly what happened to me at midnight....i could have written that word for word...FIL made some steaks and i think it wasn't done enough, i only had a few bites and immediately felt sick after. I have no desire for red meat anymore...

ETA: After refusing it at my last appointment, i called for the Zofran, i cannot go through what i went through last night....i hope it works...

That's a really good point... I asked for medium well and I don't think it was cooked so well. I should have sent it back... Thanks!
