Red Neck Rash?
I finally got a glimpse of my 10 week old DD's neck and noticed it was all red and had white stuff stuck in the folds. I tried my best to clean it with a damp paper towel. It's so hard to access her neck! Should I put anything on it to prevent the redness/irritation? It looks terrible. Bright red and bumpy

I would prob clean it, pat dry and apply a little Aquaphor. I swear by that stuff.

Re: Red Neck Rash?
it's probably heat rash. try to keep it as dry & clean as you can. i didn't like baby powder or corn starch because it clumped it and (i feel) added to the rash. aquaphor helped me to limit her neck chaffing!

Exactly what I did. It was a heat rash and when I did that it was gone in 3 days!

I LOVE Aquaphor...use it for all kinds of rashes etc... Tommie Tippy makes bibs that wont allow formula into the neck area. I love them! BRU has them

Re: Red Neck Rash?
Use cornstarch instead of baby powder if it's moist.
Aquaphor should also clear it up. If it's yeast, then get some Lotriman(?) cream (yes, the athlete's foot cream) and it will clear right up.
