Red, swollen, rash where DTAP was given.
DD is 5 and had her DTAP on friday afternoon. She complained all day yesterday bout it hurting her and now today half her arm is swollen and bright red - is this normal?

Redness and swelling is normal. Slight fever too. Not half the arm swelling...

When DS got one of his boosters at 3 his arm around the shot swelled. I got nervous. It went down in a few days.
I would call your ped. That shot is the only one my kids ever have a reaction too. That shot can cause swelling, but half the arm seems like a lot.
