Red wine question
How long is it good for after it's been opened? I know white keeps for about a week in the fridge, but what's the story with red?

Re: Red wine question
Depending on how well it's sealed, a few weeks. We have a vacuum sealer that works better than just keeping the cork in - although to be honest wine doesn't last that long in our house

Thanks! Yeah, WHITE wine doesn't last in my house; red is for desperation time here... and go figure, I have about seven bottles at any given time. Maybe it's time to expand my horizons.

Re: Red wine question
Usually stays good for 3 days. if you use a preserver, I'd say 4-5 days. Flavor starts to change after that I think.
