refinancing? anyone you'd recommend?
can anyone recommend who they used to refinance? were you happy with them and the end result?

I used teachers federal credit union. They were easy to deal with and the whole process was pretty quick.

refinancing? anyone you'd recommend?
I'd reccommend you call your current lender and ask to do a CEMA- it's a consolidation & assignment so that you don't have to pay mortgage tax again. You can do a CEMA to a new bank, but there are fees involved.

What kind of loan are you trying to do? We are in the process of doing a HARP refinance and are working with Vanguard. I'd be happy to FM you the contact.
If this goes through, we will be saving about $500 a month on our mortgage.
It's a process though and we were having difficulty with Green Tree. (Current lender)
Not looking to let an appraiser in right now since we are mid-renos, and this is required for other types of refinance and financially savings wouldn't be worth it.

we're looking to do a jumbo loan + cash out.
See we did a land construction loan almost a decade ago and we needed 20% to get the loan. So my inlaws took out a home equity line on their house to give us the 20%. So we just pay off the loan each month.
I'd like to refinance and have the cash to pay off their equity line.

You would need to have the equity in your home. I would call your existing lender to see if you qualify.
