registry - big ticket items

i'm looking over my registry now since my shower invitations went out a few days ago and noticing that i don't have too many expensive things.

In fact, only have about a few things that are over $50 .... those include:
-- stroller
-- video monitor
-- mattress
-- jumperoo
-- pack n play
-- play mat
-- mobile for crib
-- swing / bouncer combo
-- high chair

..... i think i need to add more of the more-expensive things but am not sure what .... any ideas?

i'm not registering for any furniture so that's out.

TIA

i dont think you need to add big things personally. most baby registries are filled with small inexpensive things and i always just buy a bunch of them until it comes out to an amount i want to spend.

We didn't have that many big things either and my SIL told me I should add more but I didn't want to add stuff I didn't really need or want just for the sake of adding it. I wouldn't add something unless you really feel you need it. Once all the big items are purchased people will just start buying 2 or 3 lesser priced items together. If anything they could give you a gift card if stuff on your registry runs out.

I'm not sure how big your shower will be, but we invited around 40 ppl and this is the amount of big-ticket items we had. We received most things except the mattress.
