Remember those job vibes I asked for my DH?

They didn't work While he hasn't gotten an official rejection, according to the rumor webpage for astronomy jobs (which is usually correct because the people who get the job offers post on the site) the job was offered to two other people. IF someone doesn't take the job he may have a shot, but it's not likely. Now we have to decide what to do. The nonacademic computer jobs that DH wants are all in NY, but I'd have to stay in MD to finish my PhD. I have to see whether I just want to finish quicker with a masters so we don't have to spend years apart. I'm so torn I feel so awful for my DH.

Awwww! I'm so sorry, I hope those others don't accept the jobs and that he gets an offer. Good luck, it will be a really hard decision for you, I hope it doesn't come to that.

Thanks girls, I'm hoping but not counting on it. Even so, DH has to apply for some jobs immediately because he's graduating in April and needs some type of employment.
