She just sent him and e-mail too

I don't even know how she got it! My DH was fixed their computer for them so maybe that is how she got it.

ITA with the others.... be careful, and make sure your DH doesn't respond to it at all.... and i would let her parents know. you can NEVER be too careful!

I agree. I would print it up and show it to her parents ASAP. I woudl approach it very casual- I just want you to know that X sent my DH an e-mail. Here is a copy of it. Let them draw their own conclusions.

I agree with the pp, make sure your DH doesn't respond. Even the most innocent correspondence can sometimes get twisted.

Whoa...this can't be a good thing. Please, make sure he doesn't reply. I agree with the ladies, casually talk to her parents about it and show them the e-mail.

I agree with everyone. Cute and funny at first, but now it can get sticky. Print it out, don't reply and tell her parents.

Print it out, both you and your husband show it to her parents and then change the e-mail address. This can get very ugly very quickly. I would, also, curtail my involvement with these people.

I have to agree with everyone here. Just give a heads up to the parents and make sure DH doesn't write anything back.

The e-mail said she still wants to babysit and he can trust her. He had already written back saying that are children are very young and we will only leave them with my mother. She sent the e-mail from her mother's e-mail addy so that's how she got his. Last night my DH was fertilizing our lawn and she was in her backyard with her friend and she called over the fence to say hello to him and then when he was in the front so they moved to her driveway. She said hello again and told him they were waiting for the ice cream man. I think she just has an innocent crush. I did however tell DH I think he should mention the e-mail next time he talks to her Dad/Mom. He feels bad and doesn't want to get her in trouble. I said to mention it casually and to make more about that we feel our kids are too young to not be watched by anyone else but my Mom, besides the fact that Damien would walk all over her

I think mentioning the age thing about your kids to her parents is a good idea. It casually tells them about the emails, it isn't accusatory.
