Remodeling dc's bathroom - Move them to another room?
If you were having a bathroom remodeled, in your kids room, would you move dc into another room temporarily?
My ds is 2 and I'm worried about the materials they'll be using...spackle, tile grout, paint...
There is a way for us to quarantine the area off with thick plastic, and there's a window in there for ventilation...

i'd move to another room. Those smells are terrible. plus there will be tons of dust in the air from sanding

Move to another room and def seal off the area if you can. And cover items that may acquire dust n your DCs room with plastic. When we redid our bathroom, we had dust for months (but it was an old plaster bath).

Yes. My son was out of his room for a week.

Drywall dust is super fine (in a bad way, not in a hip, cool, 1970's way.... ). You really don't want anyone to breathe that, especially DS. Depending on the paint that is used, there may be lots of VOCs being emitted, which DS should also avoid.
It also makes it easier for whoever is working on the bathroom, to not have to worry about a small child in the area.
