Removing a semi-above ground pool?
Has anyone ever had a semi-above ground pool removed? Or do you know anyone who did? We want to remove ours and don't know who to contact to do something like this. We don't use it because we work so much and the pumps don't even work properly. It is not worth it for us to fix.
It has become an eye sore for us. The other problem is it is built into the side of the deck. Any suggestions? TIA

We pulled ours out ourselves. We just did it piece by piece until it was out. We started with the liner and then worked on the framework. It took us a few weeks working on weekends. Then we ordered about 10 yards of topsoil and filled in the hole. We didn't have a deck built onto ours though.

We did the same thing. Also didn't have a deck. We were surprised how much easier it was than we anticipated.
I imagine if you called a demolition company they could do it for you.
My cousin put an ad on craigslist and at her grocery store that if someone wanted to come take it down they could have it for free to install at their own home. It was gone within a few days.

Re: Removing a semi-above ground pool?
Thanks for responding. We want to get rid of the pool but we don't know what to do about the deck since we are not ready to redo the entire back yard yet. $$$! WE have a very large wood deck and then on the side of that is a gate which leads to the rest of the deck where the pool is. I"m afraid that the deck might collapse to the side or something
