removing in-wall AC

has anyone done this recently and how much did it cost approx? We have one in our bedroom but we are getting central air finally. Our house is brick, and i'm worried it's going to cost alot to fix

I'd actually just leave it. It's a good backup if your CAC is ever out. When you eventually do a larger project, like the brick/siding, then it's a good time to remove it. Otherwise, you'll need to repair inside and outside, sheet rock and paint the inside, and do the brickwork outside, which likely wouldn't match exactly.
