Renting car for Disney. Questions and need reccs
What do u do in regards to needing car seats. Are they provided? Is there always an extra charge?
What kind of car did you rent if you had two kids?
And what company can u reccomend that's cheap? Thanks!!!! :)

I usually bring my carsaet. There is an extra charge associated with renting them and you don't know the history of the seat.
I've rented through Dollar in the past and was very happy with them. They are cheap and on site at the Orlando Airport. I think they may have merged with Thrifty though.
As for the car size - it depends on how much stuff you are going to have. We usually rent a mid-size for two of us with one kid.

We rented the car through hotwire, great price. We brought the cosco scenera carseats. My sister rented her carseat from Alamo in Orlando and it looked brand new

We brought our carseat, we rented enterprise (through priceline) and it was like a brand new mini-van. Made things a lot easier down there.

I would go and check out Mousesavers.com. They have a huge car rental area. She tells you the best companies to rent from and then tells you what codes and coupons are available and how to get the best deals.
You can rent a car seat - different companies charge differently. One thing to keep in mind which is why many bring their own seats - you don't know if they are clean, haven't been in an accident, have had any damage, they do not install them for you, and many have said they don't give you instructions on how to install it either. Additionally I have heard and read about people getting there and then they are out of seats or only have boosters and you need a convertible etc. If you can bring your own I would recommend it over renting.
I usually use national in the past only b.c I got the cheapest deal with them. But Alamo is very popular as well. There are several companies - those two are on site, as well as a few other companies. Keep in mind some are off site and you would need to take a shuttle to get there.
